Pinky Campbell

Kalpana Sharma Campbell professionally known as Pinky Campbell is an Indian American Model and Actor. Her interest in modeling brought her to this profession at a very young age. Since then she has participated in many fashion shows and commercials. Pinky was born in Jaipur, India in a Hindu family. Pinky attended Maharaja High School in Jaipur, where she studied History major. When she turned seventeen, Pinky decided to pursue Interior Designer course from Berlin in 1998. After completing the curriculum, she returned to Mumbai, where she enrolled in Roshan Taneja’s acting course and was approached for film roles, fashion shows, and commercials. In 2004, after the demise of her father, Pinky changed her screen name “Mohini Sharma” to her birth name Pinky Sharma to honor her father’s memory. Pinky still retains her interest in designing, as she loves to keep up with modern fashions and trends. Pinky is currently working on a skincare & wellness range and has started it on Instagram with the name ‘Pinlinshop’.

Career

Pinky gained popularity from her first Bollywood film, Censor, which was directed by Late Dev Anand. In that film, Pinky portrayed the character of Mohini and thus decided to adapt “Mohini Sharma” as a screen name for her career in Bollywood.
